Ludacris Jabs Back At Drake, Big Sean

Could a new fued be on the rise for the rap game? Ludacris is not one to start beef, but he is definitely one to finish it. On the fifth and sixth tracks on his mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time, Luda addresses the stabs he has taken from rappers Drake and Big Sean (specifically Drake) and turns the knife back at them.

Back in a 2010 interview with AllHipHop, Drake credited Big Sean with creating the Pause, Stop punchline flow ("You should know I ball, chemo"). He also went on to call out Ludacris for an "unsuccessful" use of the flow on Luda's hit song "My Chick Bad" ("Comin' down the street like a parade/Macy's!"), though Drake might have forgotten the fact that his YM partner Nicki Minaj also used the flow on the same song. Luda didn't forget the call-out, and even gave Drake and Big Sean a "History Lesson" on the fifth track to his new mixtape.

The track features Luda demonstrating several uses of the punchline flow YEARS before Big Sean's use of it. Kanye, Cam'ron, Method Man, Biggie, and Q-Tip are the rappers referenced on the track. On the next track, "Badaboom", Luda lets loose.

"I'm the truth in this booth and you niggas all hoes," Luda says. "Counterfeit rappers say I'm stealing they flows, but I can't steal what you never made up b-tch/Y'all some duplicate rap cloning niggas/I manufacture you hoes put on your makeup bitch. ... Let me explain, nothing's been new since Big Daddy Kane/Flows'll get recycled, passed around to different names.Y'all get a couple hit records, make some noise and have the nerve to start shouting?/Who's gassing 'em?/ ... May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain't invent it, boy/Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that's disrespecting pioneers in the game. 'My Chick Bad' went platinum, still winning motherfucker!"
