Collabs We'd Love to See

We've seen countless rappers create hit songs with famous R&B and pop singers. B.o.B and Hayley Williams, Kanye West and Katy Perry, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Drake and Rihanna, Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne, and Kanye and Chris Martin are just to name a few. However, there are still some singers out there that we have yet to collaborate with our favorite rap stars, and we've got some ideas about which ones could come together to make a hit.

Kanye West and Lady Gaga. A LOT of people were waiting for a collab song by these two ever since the announcement of their Fame Kills Tour. However, due to public outcry to Kanye's infamous act at the 2009 VMAs, the tour was cancelled, axing any chance at the two hitting the studio together. Hearing a song by the two standouts in hip hop and pop would tear the charts up. Combine West's production and rap skills with Gaga's outlandish style and unique voice, add in both artists' craziness, and you've got a recipe for a #1 song.

Drake and Adele. Both Drake and Adele have, on multiple occasions, poured their hearts out on their own songs. It would be even better if the two could pour their hearts out on the same song. And though some have grown tired of the "soft" Drake, you've got to admit, the guy can sing. The two could trade vocals on the chorus while Drake handles the verses with emotion-ladened raps. Adele's voice adds gold to any song it goes on, so combining it with a beat from Boi-1da or 40 would create an instant hit for the Canadian rapper-singer.

Lil Wayne and Katy Perry. The Martian King needs a Queen (even though Russell Brand's hittin' that). Although we have seen Katy collaborate with Kanye on her smash hit "E.T.", we feel that a song with Wayne would be just as good. Both claim to be not-of-this-earth, and if Wayne could spit some lyrical words onto the track while letting Katy tackle the chorus or a verse of her own, it would be an insane hit.

There are countless more collabs we've never seen before that we would love to see, but these are the ones that we think need to happen right away. Leave a comment and let us know what collaborations by a rapper and singer you'd love to see.
